Christmas Family Photos, Utah Edition
We recently visited Utah at the peak of autumn—when the leaves are changing and the air is brisk—and it was glorious. My favorite season (see my previous post) was epitomized in just four October days, and thankfully we had the good idea of memorializing it with family photos.
With the help of Hons’ trusty tripod, we captured ourselves in an aspen grove with a pine tree-lined backdrop. We had fun smiling for the camera and being together, doing our thing. We’ve found the easiest way to get (smiling) photos of our kids, aside from bribery, is letting them be themselves and play. We keep it light with laughing, perhaps promises of hot chocolate when the weather is cold, and occasional direction from the photographer, aka “daddy.”
This is us in the fall of 2019 in a beautiful place, and I always want to remember it. Thankfully, we have these photos that stilled a busy but precious time in our lives.
