Wild + Free Handcrafts
As some of you already know, we’ve had the awesome opportunity to contribute several (8 to be exact) handcraft tutorials over the past two years for the homeschool community, Wild + Free. We first followed Wild + Free as we were beginning to explore homeschooling, and my ideals for at-home education have very much been shaped by its various homeschool resources and the inspiration and wisdom shared by the other Wild + Free mamas. So, contributing to the Wild + Free monthly bundles has been both fulfilling and a fun way to say “thank you” to this beautiful community.
Recently, Ainsley Arment, Wild + Free’s founder, reached out to let me know the exciting news that she would be publishing Wild + Free Handcrafts with HarperOne (a publishing imprint of HarperCollins). She was hoping to feature some of my work in the book, and of course I answered with a heartfelt, Yes — what an honor! And, now, here it is!
This beautiful (and timely) book has 32 handcraft projects ranging in styles and skill level, and features three of our tutorials: Wet Felting Spring Animals, Autumn Felt Embroidery, and Paper Star. I recommend this book to every family who loves handcrafts and desires to add beauty and meaningful projects to their home. Enjoy!
